What is the ANSEA Awards?

Animation Nation launched the inaugural Lightbox South East Asia (SEA) Animation Awards, in celebration of the festival’s 20th anniversary 
in 2024. In 2025, it has been relaunched as the ANSEA Awards.

The Awards is the first of its kind to open to the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), with the intention to recognise animation talents in the region to an international jury and stage.
